About Peggy

Peggy visits the Military Women’s Memorial in Washington, D.C., is greeted by General Wilma Vaught, ret. (on her right) and LCDR, ret. Marilla Cushman, to whom Peggy presents her two WWII books for personal keeping.

Peggy Lutz lives in McMinnville, Oregon. Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Southwest  Senior Olympics athlete Peggy attributes her healthy longevity to the rigors of the military and its discipline on her in her naive early twenties.

Peggy is a very busy lady! As well as being a sought after speaker for events having to do with WWII, she also is a charter participating member of the local Band of Brothers. Plus she founded Military Women of Yamhill County, a group which welcomes all women veterans who have served in any era, to monthly lunch at Post 21 American Legion.
